
Tom has been with us at Estrella Animal Hospital since 2004. He has been a veterinary
technician for 5 years. Prior to this career, he has worked in construction, as
a tour operator and a cook. Tom was born in Washington D.C., but calls Louisville,
KY home.
He shares his home with his wife, four dogs and 2 cats. He is a dedicated employee
and enjoys working with our patients. In his off-time he is busy with outdoor recreation
and home improvement.

Kathy was born in Missouri but raised in Arizona. She attended Agua Fria Union High
School and Glendale Community College. She has worked as a veterinary technician
for 11 years, taking and passing her certification 6 years ago.
She has worked as a manager of a jewelry store, disc jockey, bartender and in sales,
making her a well rounded individual.
She shares her home 2 bearded dragons, Frito
and Lay, a box turtle, Chewy, 2 yellow kitties, Drucilla and Spike and a Border
Collie named Cricket. She also has 2 sons, Kevin, 18 years old and Kody, 14 years
old and their pets, twin cats Angel and Angelous, a grey tabby, Mouzer, an Australian
Shepherd, Lucky and a Queensland Heeler, Gravy. They also have 2 Arabian horses,
Kaleish and Gypsy.

Patricia was born in Montebello, CA and moved to Arizona at a young age. She attended
Maryvale High School and Glendale Community College. She is now attending Long Medical
Institute for Certified Veterinary Technician.
Prior to working with animals Patricia
was a police officer. Her love for animals and desire to help lead her to veterinary
medicine.
Patricia shares her home with her fiancé, mother, brothers, sisters, niece
and her four legged children: eight rabbits, four dogs and three cats.
Patricia
is a very ambitious individual. In her spare time (from here) she attends Long Medical
and works for the State.

Cathie was born at Andrew Air Force Base in Maryland. She graduated from Fort Walton
High School and has attended Okaloosa Walton Community College, Mount Olive College
and Wright State University. Prior to being a veterinary technician she has worked
as a Legal Secretary and a Receptionist.
Cathie was raised Air Force and married
Air Force. Before moving to Arizona, her family was stationed in Hawaii. Her husband,
Kevin is stationed at Luke Air Force Base. They have three children, 2 boys, Josh
and Sean, and their daughter Elora. Cathie has her hands full as Elora is handicapped
and needs 24 hour supervision. At 12 years old, this in itself is no small feat.
They also have three dogs, Keelo, a Golden Retriever, Shadow, an Australian Shepard,
and Stinger, a Greyhound, one parakeet, Darby, and ferrets.
In her spare time, Cathie
enjoys running, weight lifting, hiking and mountain climbing.

Lisa is a native of Arizona. She attended McClintock High School, in Tempe and Mesa
Community College. She has pursued her career as a veterinary technician in Colorado,
where it was too cold for her, Las Vegas, NV, where it was too active a lifestyle
for her and back in Arizona. She has worked previously in both private practice
and at the Phoenix Zoo. Lisa shares her home with her boyfriend of 10 years, Damien,
and their four legged children, American Bulldogs Rok and Tonka, their cat Smokey,
3 bearded dragons, Marmaduke, Daisy and Baby D and some fish too. In her off time
Lisa enjoys spending time with family and friends and her two favorite vacation
destinations are Greer, AZ and Kauai, HA.

Molly Broersma comes to us from Michigan. She, her husband Joel and two children,
daughter Maya 10 years old and son Kael, 4 years old moved here in 2005. They also
share their home with 2 German Shepherds and 2 cats. Molly owned and operated a
boarding kennel on her property in Michigan. They moved here so her husband could
pursue his musical career. On her off time, Molly and her family enjoy spending
time outdoors, hiking, fishing and camping.

Chelsea was born in Albuquerque, NM and moved to Arizona 8 years ago. She shares
her home with her four cats, Cash, Zero, Chazz and Sadie and her dog Trinity. Currently,
Chelsea is attending Long Technical College working towards her Certified Veterinary
Technician degree. She also works as a counselor on weekends for a rehabilitation
facility. In her off time she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
